Our team of experts check over 5,000 products daily to ensure we offer you the best price possible. If you find the same product in stock in another electrical retailer in the Republic of Ireland then we will price match it. You can drop into one of our 23 nationwide stores or chat with us online. Our friendly team will make sure you get the best price.

We are so confident that we will not be beaten on price if you find the exact same product that we sold you within 7 days of purchase at a lower price in a named competitor in the Republic of Ireland, we will give you a DID Electrical voucher for ‘Double the Difference’.

Can I seek a ‘Double the Difference’ voucher before I make a purchase at DID Electrical?

No, our price guarantee is that we will not be beaten on price. In the unlikely event that one of our competitors has a lower price than the DID Electrical price that you paid, upon returning to any DID Electrical store we will issue you with a DID Electrical voucher in store for ‘Double the Difference’.

If you find a lower price elsewhere post-purchase with DID, how do you claim & collect a ‘Double the Difference’ voucher?

Simply call back into any of our stores nationwide with your receipt and a note of the model code, the competitor and the shelf edge price as displayed in the store which they are selling the exact same product within 7 days of your purchase at DID Electrical. If we have been beaten on price we will give you a DID Electrical voucher for ‘Double the Difference’ there and then.      

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. We can price match on the day of purchase, and it can be applied to online and store pricing for competitor’s stores in the Republic of Ireland.
2. The competitor must have the item in stock and it must be an exact match.
3. The customer must provide details of the competitor offer. This can be a copy of printed advertising or an online store URL.
4. Price match applies to items. It does not apply to delivery, installation, or other services.
5. Items excluded from the price match promise:

• Blanket competitor discounts
• Competitor Sale or doorbuster offers
• Ex-display prices
• Negotiated price quotes or bundle price quotes
• Free items with products
• Special order prices
• Refurbished products
• Prices advertised in limited quantities
• Third-party resellers
• Competitors’ prices where they have no stock available for collection or delivery
• All Apple products

‘Double the Difference’ guarantee applies to shelf edge product prices only and applies to a difference of €1 or more and excludes:

•  Blanket competitor discounts

• Free delivery and installation promotions

• Special order prices

DEFINITIONS

The exact same product: Double the Difference can only be offered on the same product found in a named competitor store anywhere in the Republic of Ireland.  To verify that it is the same product it must carry the same model code, be of the same brand, colour, size and be in stock. Double the Difference will not be offered on similar models. They must be exactly the same product.

Shelf-edge prices: A shelf-edge price is as displayed in-store for an individual product and shows the customer the price that that product is intended for sale.

Double the Difference will not be offered against a negotiated or special price on a product or a price quoted online unless it is proven to match the shelf-edge price.
